QFS Sponsors 2020 Shred Day Event

It was a blistering hot Saturday morning as the staff of Quest Financial Services worked to help the community in their annual shred event. 

Things started in a rush and never slowed down. Cars were lined up through the parking lot to Matthews Street to successfully shred their confidential papers. In fact, organizers moved to form two lines to accommodate the attendees. 

Originally scheduled for mid-April. The event was moved to July to follow the new tax filing date. 52 bins from over 200 cars was a record high from the ten years this event has been held. Attendees remained in their vehicles as Quest Financial staff removed items from their trunk. 

Soon’s Orchard provided carry out bags of specialized items from their farm.

If you are interested in helping Quest Financial in their community endeavors look out for the coat drive and toy drive scheduled for later this year. Next year’s shred event is scheduled for the weekend following tax day.
